Trust & Safety · Supervised school use

Clear safeguarding and teaching boundaries

Use teacher-led learning with fictional scenarios. Students can practise words and actions without sharing personal experiences.

Demonstration boundaries

The Years 3–6 demonstration does not monitor students, assess risk or generate safeguarding alerts. Its fixed scenarios and authored feedback do not use generative AI. Teachers supervise and follow school safeguarding procedures. It is not an emergency service.

Educational purpose

Activities provide rehearsal opportunities, not a diagnosis, mental-health measurement, professional assessment or guarantee of detecting harm. Completion is not evidence of mastery or improved wellbeing.

Choice and adult responsibility

Students may observe, pass, draw, point or write instead of speaking. Do not ask for personal incidents, names, recordings or private messages. For bullying or unsafe situations, seek trusted adult help; children are not responsible for resolving the situation.

Teaching resources and narration

The school sequence uses original written lessons and discussion feedback. Optional tap-to-play read-aloud uses the device speech service, with all words also visible as text. No student microphone access or uploads are required.

Staff records

Optional signed-in teacher feedback and non-identifying observations are available to their author and WordGuard administrators. Keep identifiable evidence in the school’s authorised system and agree handling of staff records before saving.

Supervised pilot scope

The pilot consists of teacher-led Years 3–6 lessons, fictional rehearsal, curriculum previews, printables and teacher evaluation tools. It does not include individual student provisioning, personal student reflections, recordings, message analysis, AI coaching, guardian alerts or automated class reporting.
