We do not read your child's messages
Word Guard has no access to private chats, social feeds or contacts. There is nothing to scan, because scanning is not how the app works.
We teach the skill instead of watching the child
The app steps in at the moment of friction — when a message stings, when anger spikes — and rehearses the pause: notice the body signal, name the feeling, choose the next move.
Reflections stay with the learner
What a young person writes or records in a lesson is theirs. Educators see engagement and wellbeing signals so they can offer support — never the content of a child's private reflection.
Your data does not train AI models
No student content is used to train foundation models. AI is used only to generate coaching guidance in the moment, from the curriculum we publish openly.

Privacy & security
Message content is never read, stored or transmitted. Reflections stay private to the learner, and no student data is used to train AI models.
Reliability & safety
Coaching responses are grounded in the approved RTL curriculum, screened for crisis language, and escalate to a school's safeguarding lead rather than improvising.
Inclusiveness
Every activity is age-banded across 6–17 with adjustable sensory options, spoken support, and plain-language scripts for learners who read less confidently.
Accountability
Educators and guardians remain the decision-makers. The AI suggests scripts and modules; a human always chooses whether to use them.
Transparency
We state plainly what the app does and does not do, name the framework behind every lesson, and publish the curriculum for review before purchase.
Fairness
No risk scoring of individual children, no behavioural profiling, and no diagnostic or clinical labels — the language is rehearsal and skill-building only.
